The Music Video Project (MVP) was the creation of music videos celebrating the inclusive, diverse and creative spirit of Mumbai through engagement with filmmakers and musicians. CanCom conceptualised and executed MVP for the BMC, the city’s civic body, in association with the Kala Ghoda Association. It was an initiative under the UNESCO Creative City of Film Network. Filmmakers shot the video in the city over 5 days through special permissions given by the municipal corporation, a real gift to filmmakers! We even shot a promotional music video- unbelievably – right in the heart of the Churchgate subway for the band, Rakesh & Friends, thanks to the BMC! The video featured here is the winning video, by the team Tickle Talkies, headed by Vighnesh Shinde set to a rocking tune composed and written by Saisamarth Mulay of S.M. Euphonies.
